our perfect one inch long 1/4th of an ounce nugget that turned our world
upside down from the moment we read two lines.
maybe every pregnant girl says this, but holy cow there are a lot of other pregnant girls due within a month of me. when they started posting pictures of their perfect little fetuses
i started stressing.
why is ziggy so small? why is my womb so gargantuan? why does ziggy look like a triceratops?
worry. worry. worry.
compare. compare. compare.
why do we do this to ourselves?
i need this reminder so much i made it my quote for September (see bottom of page)
"Look to me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."

COngrats! i am amazed at those little early ultrasounds. isn't is amazing that such a little thing can change our lives so much!?
did the same thing. I would compare my ultrasounds and wonder what the mass was in the side of his neck or was that a sixth toe? Don't worry. Your baby is fine. Oh and once he/she is born the worrying only continues to worsen. Just enjoy each stage. I love that scripture. Its what I needed to hear. Thanks.
Soon you will start comparing your belly with everyone I remember thinking all the time why does she look so small and I am so huge when she is due the same time as me! I swear everyone was due when Jett was. It was weird.
First off, congratulations! Isn't this time so exciting? I'm also due the end of March and have been comparing, worrying, wondering along with everyone else. I think there are lots of women due around our same time because (at least I hear) March is a wonderful time to have a baby!

Yes, I think all pregnant women compare everything from ultrasounds to bellies to swelling ankles to morning sickness etc...I know I did! I love prego updates so keep them coming!

You make me laugh! A triceratops.... there were some of Afton further along that I just threw away later- they look a little alianish in the womb.
I can't believe how soon they can get such a good little picture! Looks like a cute little gummy bear! :)

ugh the comparing has only begun. i wish i could be pregnant alone every time but EVERYBODY seems to be pregnant when you are. it's so odd. but you and ryan are the most important pregnant people in MY life and you are both perfect and have perfect babies so no judging here :)
Congratulations to both of you! I'm, or I guess we, are so excited for you guys. And I know it doesn't really matter, but that scripture really has been my motivation since my junior year in high school. It's given me strength and peace so many times - I hope you find the encouragement that you need from it. Again, we're so happy!

that is funny. i was thinking the same thing after my ultrasound, that the womb seemed huge! so of course (being the worrier that i am), i had to google other ultrasound pics to see comparisons, and mine still seems huge:) oh well.
i also think each baby and ultrasound are going to look so different because of the position of the baby, the person doing the ultrasound, yada yada. max's first ultrasound looks NOTHING like my 2nd squirt's ultrasound at all. max's looks more like yours... you've got a darling "triceratops" ! so perfect and so cute!!
