so i am officially "over the hill." 21 weeks pregnant & more than half way there to meeting the B.I.B.
i'm not nauseated anymore, but one wrong smell, or one too long session of coughing & i'm headed for the oval office - still about every other day, but i'll take it! between that and a very active fetus, i can't go too long before i remember "oh yeah, i'm pregnant!" it's such a different experience the second time around. we all love this little brother so much already, Hayes likes to blow raspberries and pat my tummy & drape himself right over the top of my belly. does he know what's really awaiting him in august? for sure no, but he's still cute & blissfully ignorant. and please note how committed is he to his "say cheese" face?
also, i mixed it up in the hair do department.
i heard that people usually freeze their look (hair, clothes, make up) in the time of their life they considered their "peak." i am firmly dedicated to the notion that every stage of your life can & should be prime. so, when i heard from a new-ish friend that she had never seen me with any other hairstyle but that one i had, i called my sister up & said time to chop it off! here we are. blonde with a razor cut bob. next up on the list: a tan!

First off you look adorable! I am loving the hair. You are daring to try so many different things. I've pretty much had long hair all my life, I guess I did do the brown thing, which I go back blonde in a couple weeks, but I am loving your hair. It makes me that much more excited to go blonde.
I love how Hayes loves your belly. Bailey did the same thing and had no idea what was going on. When I had Matthew and came home from the hospital (with no baby) she looked at me didn't really notice at first, we then said something about the baby and she went, "where'd baby go!" we laughed really hard! I think she just thought my belly was the baby.
