we have so many great pictures to share, i don't even know where to start.
let's start with my amazing brother collin. he captured Hayes' first minutes beautifully!
no this isn't some fancy photoshop action-- i really looked this worked.
i had broken blood vessels all over my face and shoulders from pushing,
so my skin isn't really that bad.
Russ says that Hayes had the kung-fu grip on his finger in the nursery. he stayed super peaceful the whole time he was getting checked unless he had to let go of his hand.
that's still true, if we hold Hayes' hand he always calms right down.
thank you so much collin!

those pictures are fantastic! He is such a darling.
and you look great!
sooo sweet. i was getting excited just looking at him. jaundice is so sad... I hope everything is better!
Emily,
I love the picture in the bottom right near the top of the post (the one with Russ in the nursery and that girl looking through the window). The composition is pretty cool. It would look super sweet framed juxtaposed next to a close-up of Hayes holding Russ' finger. Nice job Collin!
And a big BOO for jaundice!
