Let me tell you about my massage experience with Candy Anderson, but first... I hope these reviews are informative and pointing you to all the right people. I am so happy to shine some light on some really amazing women running their own businesses & making their career dreams a reality. I just hope these posts aren't rubbing anyone the wrong way, I really do appreciate your support!
My latest review was for a massage by Candy Anderson, LMT.
She recently started up her massage business and her specialties are:
Swedish
Deep Tissue
Trigger Point
Injury
Prenatal
(other styles available upon request.)
Her rates are an absolute STEAL. $20 for a 30 minute massage or $35 for a full hour.
For Ruffling Feathers readers, a full hour massage is only $30.
Basically, don't go eat at Chili's one night & you'll have a relaxing and restorative massage.
Candy is super professional and informative. She talks if you want to talk, she experimented with different levels of pressure until we found what I was comfortable with, she boosted my ego letting me know I had buff arms, and she took the time to get some background information on my problem areas so I could prevent them in the future. My shoulders and neck have non-stop tension from carrying a hefty Hayeser around all day. She explained the science behind it and scared me straight when she said I was on the quick road to a humpback (I'm kidding, but seriously, terrified of a humpback.) She explained simple 20 second stretches I could do to help prevent the pain I have had for 7 months.
My grandma is a LMT, my aunt is an LMT, and I have cousins who are also LMTs. My mom would trade room & board in our house to massage students. What I'm saying is that I've had a lot of massages in my day. Candy's was among the best, and I can't endorse her skill enough. Despite that, I learned new things & ways to increase my overall health +BONUS!
