thanksgiving point: review & giveaway

Thanksgiving Point was kind enough to invite me to their Wedding Expo blogger's preview last week. My schedule was crazy, but I knew of two people who would absolutely love to go, so I sent my sister and mom in my place. Bethany is obsessed with all things wedding & my mom just may be planning her own in their near future, so they were the perfect subs.

Thanksgiving Point had their best vendors come together for an afternoon before the expo opened and showed the latest trends in wedding fashion, decor, food & details. Bethany and my mom gave me a full report, a slew of pictures, and goodie bags galore. I am still trying to finish the treat bag!

Cake-A-Licious
You can check out all the info here, but the preview included wedding fashion by Allyse's Bridal, wedding invites and styling from Details by Ramey, cakes by Cake-A-Licious, hair & makeup by Amara Salon and food by Thanksgiving Point.

My subs were extremely impressed with the cakes by Cake-A-Licious. They absolutely raved about them, my mom said she wouldn't even have cake at her wedding because it's never good, but quickly changed her mind after trying the Rootbeer Float cake.

They were also excited by Amara Salon's traveling wedding day packages. On your special day they will come to you and your bridal party to get you ready. This would have been so nice when I got married, so much more relaxing I think.

Details by Ramey had a lot of exciting and NEW! (doesn't it feel like there is never any new ideas with weddings?) ideas in invitations, and extra special detailing that makes a wedding go from good, to unforgettable. <--- I wrote that line myself, surprisingly enough.

darling invites!

Maybe the most impressive preview was by Thanksgiving Point's catering. They both said they were stuffed, but just kept eating because everything was so good. They specialize in these amazing little artisanal bites, perfect for wedding guests to dance and mingle and eat along the way.

this was their to-go treat box, a little mangled after it's long journey to my house. everything was delicious.
