here's a post that i thought i published last week, but has sat in drafts ever since. oh dear blog, you are so neglected, and i am fervently sorry.

we decided for Christmas that we would just go along with the "want, need, wear, read" motto for the boys and ourselves. it's so easy for us to go overboard and having a number of presents set from the get-go worked so much better for us!
the boys are so small still they have no qualms about the amount of presents under the tree (not that it mattered with the ultimate spoiling going on by our family!) so for now we're going with it!
our boys were so fun to watch, Cal couldn't have been sweeter. playing with each piece of wrapping paper, then the toy, the dancing a little bit and repeat. he had the time of his life.
