friday business :: day out with thomas

just a couple things today!

first, Jenna and I (and several other bloggers) sponsored a little party at Apricot Boutique (Shops at Riverwoods) and we had such a good time!  a dirt cheap shellac mani didn't hurt matters at all either. big thanks to Apricot Boutique, Provo Beach Resort's spa and Cupcake Chic for treating us so well! if you're local, head to Riverwoods and check it out!

Hayes is super into trains lately and i am excited to take him to the annual Day Out With Thomas (and Sir Topomhatt, who I've been assured is much less of a buzzkill in real life then on the show ::wink::) event on the Heber Valley Railroad this Memorial Day Weekend! if you and your family want to win 4 free tickets ($72 value!) and a chance to be the honorary conductor they are holding a contest on their Facebook page.

here's how to enter:

grab your phone/video camera and film and explanation why your kid (or you) are the biggest Thomas fan and submit it to their Facebook page. 
i could easily film Hayes' sweet gallop dance move he does whenever the Thomas & Friends theme song plays, but i'd like to give other people a chance to win, so...

after you upload your video, encourage your friends to "like" it and every week until the event a family 4 pack will given out to an entry. Then on May 15 they'll announce the honorary conductor (who will also get a free 4 pack) entries will be accepted May 1-14.
