the hunt II

Jenna hosted the second annual egg hunt, first hunt seen here, and as always it was filled with awesome activities, unbeatable scenery and good food.
most of us have had our second (or third babies) since then and it's funny to see how the same tasks change as you expand your family. there's always one kid left to fend for themselves and it's very apparent who that is in the following pics:

a flimsy easter egg that if opened will reveal a highly choke-able jellybean?
let me continue to fill these death eggs and put them in the basket as to better assist your reachability, Cal.
jumping with a giant egg in your hands? hope you keep all your teeth, Hayes!
several flying bodies with uncontrolled limbs flailing? just scoot to the back Hayes, try to stay out of the mosh pit.

a low banquet table filled with goodies?
Hayes helped himself, and Cal got his first M&M, so I'd say this was a parent win!
as much as i used to think myself as an omnipresent parent, never really hovering per se, but always aware and close by, these outings are sure doing a number on my ego.

thanks again J, lovely as always. and for the first time in this post, that's not sarcasm!
